About the Role
As part of the Sourcing team at ASOS, you will play an important part of helping the Sourcing team uphold the Ethical and Sustainable principles of the Company and ensure that all ASOS OB suppliers are fit for purpose and deliver “Fashion with Integrity”. This will encompass managing current supplier relationships and supplier on-boarding. Working closely with ASOS retail teams and suppliers, our mission is to deliver a sustainable supply base which is capable of delivering our ‘Fashion with Integrity’ strategy. You will be part of the team working closely with our retail teams and suppliers to develop more transparent and sustainable supply chains across the globe.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting Supplier Management
Supports sourcing team by chasing up outstanding information for sourcing projects
Sends out samples for costing for potential new suppliers
Supports the Sourcing team by scoping out trips/ travel
Manages the departmental travel tracker - ensures it sent to Finance for key dates
Responsible for agenda's for meetings
Gathers all of the info for the sourcing newsletter
Responsible for managing the updates to the supplier capabilities
Chases suppliers for PLI certificates
Responsible for Post/ sending out parcel/ Stationary
Responsible for updating the master supplier database - ensuring updated supplier contact details are held at all times
Responsible for monitoring the Sourcing Supplier inbox
Managing Data and Key Tasks
Raising general Sourcing PO's - completed through Celaton
Runs the scorecard data/ and ensures that all formatting is correct for publication
Inputs data into the supplier roll - ensures data is accurate for approval by other
Manages monthly commodity update from Finance for the Sourcing Newsletter
Completes the Sourcing Response form data is up to date, works with Sourcing Associate to chase in outstanding data
Manages supplier contracts
Supplier on-boarding/ factory on-boarding - manages forms and responsible for keeping the supplier database updated
