Amazon Sortation is looking to hire an experienced, innovative, hands-on, and customer-obsessed Operational Trainer to play a critical role in improving safety, productivity and the overall customer experience. The Operational Trainer will be responsible for supporting change within the sites and for ensuring that all Associates have the appropriate skills.

Key job responsibilities
Deliver training and coaching to Amazon’s standard
Review and improve site-training completion rates together with managers and associates
Gather feedback and highlight areas where there are opportunities to streamline or improve the training experience
Work with teams to identify areas where further training and development is needed
Help to audit metrics such as safety, quality, and process across sites
Train and coach associates to become ambassadors who can help deliver coaching and training to local teams

A day in the life
The role of Trainer is about sharing and upholding our process standards. You’ll deliver high-quality training that outlines safety, culture, and site-specific procedures to Amazon employees as well as external partners, along with a warm welcome for new hires. As a Trainer, you’ll make sure everyone sticks to the highest operating standards. You’ll know how to constructively deliver feedback that helps learners grow and develop.

You’ll be based on-site at one of our operational facilities, delivering in-person and online training to the team across a variety of shift patterns. You may also support other sites when required. You’ll work independently but will regularly liaise with key site staff and stakeholders.

About the team
