Location: Basingstoke, UK
We are seeking a Placement Student with a passion for accounting to become our Hawk-Eye Financial Accountant Intern, a self-starter with a keen interest to develop financial acumen and utilise enthusiasm and ambition to support improvement initiatives, who will perform tasks in an accurate and timely manner to meet financial reporting targets.
Throughout this 13-month paid placement, you will be given the opportunity to not only expand your knowledge but also immerse yourself in what it means to be an aspiring Accountant in a multinational organisation and to understand where your career could take you. Working within established teams, you will be offered expert mentorship alongside multiple development opportunities.

You will:
- Support the Senior Financial Accountant in the day-to-day financial accounting processes as well as ensure balance sheet integrity by maintaining up-to-date, accurate reconciliations supported by an independent source
- Develop and communicate financial reporting to management that provides clear and accurate information for business decisions
- Support better information flow, reporting, process improvement, and standardisation
- Liaise with a wide network of Stakeholders, adding value to the finance team by becoming a true business partner
- Build long-lasting relationships within and outside the business
Your profile:
- Studying for an undergraduate degree which makes you eligible for a 13-month placement starting summer 2023. Preferred degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or similar
- Strong analytical skills and ability to deal with large sets of data
- Excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly learn and use new IT applications
- Positive, self-motivated, and inquisitive team player who is not afraid to challenge and be challenged
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint)
- English language (written and spoken)

Your new office:
Basingstoke: Based at the Basingstoke office, you will enjoy a modern working environment.
