Finance Process Analyst
For Sony Group Finance Accounting, Global Process Office
Location: Weybridge, UK
We are seeking a Placement Student with a passion for project and change management to become our Finance Process Analyst involved in supporting the coordination of process improvement and digital transformation projects for the finance & accounting department. Being a member of the Global Process Office, projects will cover areas of process documentation, finance process digitalisation and transformation, and administering tools use by our teams (e.g., systems upgrades, reporting and analysis).
Throughout this 13-month paid placement, you will be given the opportunity to learn and immerse yourself in what it means to be a Process Analyst & Project Manager Office (PMO) support function in a multi-cultural European organisation and to understand where your career could take you. We want to help you shape your understanding of the significant impact of Project & Change Management on an organisation.
You will:
- Support Global Process Office team in Project, Process and Change management with various project administrative activities (e.g., maintaining project trackers, reporting, scheduling meetings, updating team-specific user manual)
- Act as a communication and collaboration coordinator to harmonize information between the process owners and the stakeholders from the business
- Provide support with system governance, access administration, usage of the tools and quality control for various process management tools (e.g., Signavio, WPB, SharePoint, Teams)
Your profile:
- Studying an undergraduate degree which makes you eligible for a 13-month placement starting summer 2023. Preferred degree in Business, Project Management, Information System, Information technology, or similar
- Excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude
- Self-motivated, organised and inquisitive individual who is not afraid to challenge and be challenged
- Able to quickly learn and use new IT applications
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint)
- English language (written and spoken)
Our recruitment process:
