Centrica Storage Limited (CSL), have an exciting new position for a HR Coordinator to provide operational support for both Learning & Development and HR Operations. It provides a great opportunity for anyone wishing to broaden their career in a HR generalist role.
Location: Hybrid (office/home) with travel to our Woodland House office, Hull, UK

Learning & Development
- Develop and maintain accurate and easily accessible records and processes for all L&D activities and processes including recording and monitoring attendance, ensuring that staff required to attend specific workshops are easily identified and followed up
- Produce regular reports on L&D metrics, including spend and the updating of training activity records, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date
- Conduct needs assessments and work with subject-matter experts and teams to ensure outputs meet CSL needs and project objectives.
- Work with the knowledge team to ensure the correct data is entered in the Company Competency Management System and evidence of competency from certification is received.
- Work with external agencies, Health & Safety team and individual managers to ensure the business is legally compliant to the required standards and action any changes in legislation affecting qualifications / training needs.
- Liaise with line managers and delegates to ensure all staff are booked on required events within agreed timeframes.
- Review, design and communicate L&D procedures for the booking of both in-house, Centrica and external training courses. Monitor L&D/training SLA’s, advising staff on L&D policies and procedures, including resolving or supporting resolution of problems related to the operation of the L&D area.
- Event manage CSL specific/ad-hoc training for including event logistics, delegate needs, liaison with facilitators and ensuring required equipment is available for the efficient running of all relevant events, maintaining expenditure and records.
- Be the single point of contact between schools and CSL in arranging work placements for work experience year 10 & 11 school students and support departments in arranging work schedules for the students.
- Maintain budget information. Update training expenditure records, review monthly spend and track of payments.
HR Operations
- Provide a proactive and professional HR service to the business, advising stakeholders on HR and management information.
- Support and facilitate change initiatives for business areas, which underpin the achievement of the people and business strategy.
- Provide support on absence, discipline, grievances, salary benchmarking and performance management.
- Provide support and advice on resourcing.
- Support engagement and overall workforce satisfaction activities across the business
- Ensure HR systems are up to date and accurate to enable provision of timely and credible management information.
- Support the HR team to identify improvement projects and participate in key cross CSL and cross business initiatives.
