A Microsoft Solutions/Pre-sales Specialist (Microsoft 365/Azure) is required by our team. If you want to focus your career on understanding clients’ requirements and helping them choose the right solutions, this role could be for you.

The Solutions/Pre-sales consultant will support the sales strategy, working with our clients, pre-sales, sales, marketing, technical and project management teams. You will be responsible for activities such as scoping, presentations, fact finding, strategic road mapping, demos, proposal building, and assisting with GTM propositions. You will have outstanding customer facing skills, experience in helping customers articulate their business problems and requirements. You will be experienced in developing solution scopes to meet these requirements; and have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills used to convey a compelling story and solution to the customer.

You can expect customers to be of varying size, industries, duration of engagement and complexity of requirement. In your Solutions/Pre-sales role, you will often act as the point of contact for the customer to prove credibility and ability to execute. You will manage customer expectations and issues with regards to ongoing opportunities alongside the project and commercial teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Technical pre-sales assistance working closely and interfacing with sales, PMO and Delivery Teams, assistance with scoping, proposals, presentations etc.

· Sit alongside the project management office to ensure the best possible CX (both internally and externally)

· Work with, and lead consultants on pre-sales activities

· Assist Sales & Marketing with GTM propositions for both Partner & Direct

· Assist with the design and architecture of M365 and Azure solutions

· Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients at all levels

· Accurately scope, define and price project work

· Provide insight and update training to the Sales and Technical teams

Skills / Experience Required:

Candidates will need to be a technical individual with 2+ years consulting and deployment experience across Microsoft cloud collaboration, security, identity and messaging technologies.

· 3+ years working with Microsoft 365 or Azure in a technical consulting role

· Strong presentation skills

· A keen interest in Microsoft and emerging technologies

· Good knowledge of M365 identity, collaboration and security

· Technical experience in the design of solutions and integration of systems

· Experience with other aspects of the Power Platform and O365 applications

· Natural communicator with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

· Solution design or technical architecture expertise delivering enterprise technology projects

· Providing guidance to enable consulting teams to execute against the customer requirements

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills - and be able to communicate effectively with Senior Management, Business Users and Technical staff

· Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, attention to quality, self-motivation and a strong desire to succeed

Desired Skills/Experience:

· Experience in sales and sales processes

· Microsoft 365 and/or Azure certified

Additional information:

Commutable distance to Guildford and Basingstoke offices.

37.5 hours per week

Hybrid working environment

£50,000 - £80,000pa (depending on experience) plus incentive scheme.

Salary: £50,000.00-£80,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Technical Sales Team: 2 years (preferred)
  • technical consulting: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Azure/Microsoft 365 certified (preferred)

  • United Kingdom (required)
