Lead Cloud Solution Engineer - up to £700 per day inside ir35 - 6 months (extension likely) - Gloucestershire - predominately onsite working - one stage interview - DV clearance required - Sector: Aerospace & Defence

Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Lead Cloud Solution Engineer to work as part of a key infrastructure team on an exciting decisive system into AWS.

This role would support a world leader in aerospace technologies, and there push into some groundbreaking new cloud solutions.

Candidate must hold a current DV clearance on submission.

Responsible:

• Supporting the design AWS and hybrid-cloud systems
• Automating system deployment, operation and maintenance using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration Management tooling
• Designing and building solutions in AWS
• Designing and troubleshooting IP networking systems for AWS and hybrid-cloud systems
• Administering systems based on Linux and Windows operating systems.

Core Skills:

• Extensive experience of administration of Linux and Windows Operating Systems within large corporate environments.
• Large experience of designing, deploying, and troubleshooting IPv4 Networking, including Subnetting, OSPF Routing, VLANs and VPNs.
• Amazon Web Services Certified to Associate level
• Experience of automating tasks using Ansible, Bash, PowerShell, Puppet or Python.

Desirable Skills:

• Additional experience with GCP or Azure
