We are currently recruiting for an Admissions Administrator (Registry) to join our busy Registry team. Duties include general office support such as preparing letters and transcripts, photocopying/scanning and filing documents, and helping to ensure compliance with the School’s Tier 4 sponsorship license and US Federal loans as well as supporting the Student Administration service.
Ideally, the successful candidate will be proficient in MS Office packages such as Word, Excel and Outlook, with a proactive, can-do attitude, attention to detail and excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Job description
Full time: 28 hours per week
Responsible to: Registry Assistant Manager
Salary: up to £17,600 per annum (£22,000 FTE)
Purpose of the role:
· The Administrative Assistant will provide general office support such as preparing and providing letters and transcripts for students and graduates
· They will also be responsible for photocopying, scanning, collating and filing documents as required
· Supporting the operation of the NFTS Admissions throughout the year, they will also be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely student data entry
· Providing any other administrative support as required by the Registry Assistant Manager
The Admissions Administrator will be working closely with all members of the Registry team, Curriculum Coordinators, Finance Department and Heads of Departments
Main duties and responsibilities:
Course enquiries
· Answering enquiries efficiently and effectively from potential applicants about all courses and related issues such as entry requirements, fees, funding and scholarships information, via email and telephone
Admissions administration
· Processing applications in accordance with the School’s policies and procedures and undertaking all administration tasks related to the admissions process
Other duties
· Assist the Registry Manager with preparation of documents for Student Visas.
· Assist the Registry Assistant Manager with the administration of the US Federal loans for American students
· All personal data and information must be processed in accordance with data protection legislation and the School’s Data Protection Policy.
· The post-holder will be required to undertake other duties as the Registry Assistant Manager might require, pro-actively contribute to the tasks undertaken by the Registry team as appropriate, especially a peak time, and provide cover for colleagues in the Registry Office in case of absence.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
· Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
· Self-disciplined with the ability to prioritise under pressure and refer matters to senior staff as appropriate
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Able to work in a team and independently
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· The ability to operate flexibly and adapt to changes positively
· Desirable experience of working in a higher education institution
