At a time of considerable transformational change for the Group, we are looking to recruit an experienced Business Solutions Developer to join the ICT team based at 4040 Lakeside.
This post is responsible for contributing to the design, integration, deployment, and other technical aspects of the development of, and modifications to the Housing management system within Citizen. As the Housing Systems developer you will be instrumental in enabling the successful development and transition to service of the next generation ICT applications and services.
The ideal candidate should be experienced in incident and problem management along with monitoring systems performance and availability.
As a team we are responsible for the implementation, development and testing of software upgrades and enhancements as directed, ensuring the solutions are technically sound and are delivered on time.
This is a position where you will be expected to manage many competing priorities and projects, working collaboratively with partners across the business to ensure the delivery of quality outcomes. Experience of working within an ICT team and delivering solutions is essential along with sound working knowledge of housing management systems, interfacing systems and customer portals.
In housing you can make a real difference, the role of Business Solutions Developer will involve:
- Implementation, development and testing of software upgrades and enhancements.
- Working with partners and stakeholders across the business to ensure quality and positive outcomes.
- Monitoring of systems performance and availability.
- Being responsible for smooth transition of ICT applications and services.
As Business Solutions Developer we need you to have:
- Ability to create SQL scripts and manage the end-to-end process.
- Experience of working within a team and communicating effectively to partners across the business to ensure smooth delivery of ICT services and applications.
- Driven to proactively improve performance of ICT systems.
- Understanding of change management strategies and principles.
- Ability to analyse data, recognise trends and implement solutions.
We would be really excited if you have:
- Experience of working within the housing sector
- ITIL qualification or experience
- Experience of Microsoft Workflow or any workflow experience
- Any use C++ or HTML
