- As an Assistant Brand Manager you will support the Brand Manager in driving the development and the implementation of the brand strategy, working with our commercial teams to develop growth plans, developing and delivering compelling and distinctive brand marketing programmes, and above all building marketing leading brands that people talk about.
- You will play a critical role in making things happen, in inspiring, persuading, and gaining commitment for his / her projects across different functions and different work levels. He / she will need to have the confidence to present to Director on a frequent basis.
- You will also take full responsibility for developing and implementing key brand initiatives such as product renovation development projects, product launches, media campaigns as appropriate to deliver the overall revenue and profit delivery of a brand portfolio
- You will support the development and execution of the strategic marketing plan for Blissfuls, ensuring short- and long-term financial targets are achieved
- You will be working closely with other teams and partners ensuring a focus on business and brand profitability and a growth agenda.
- Support the implementation of existing Marketing Brand Plans, and the planning process for the coming year
- Lead part of the Blissfuls portfolio: supervise performance, recommend actions and empower teams and other functions to drive brand performance.
- Reporting -– analyse brand and market information to produce analysis and present standard financial & performance reporting decks with clear insights (as well as ad-hoc analysis) using IRI/Nielsen and Kantar data sources.
- Lead the development and management of innovation and renovation projects for the specific brand responsibility as required. Including project management, leading cross functional teams and presenting the project at monthly gate reviews to gain alignment.
- Update product packaging in accordance with ingredient, global design amendments and promotional requirements. Managing the process from brief and supporting the brand managers to ensure timely and effective execution. Manage the Brandbank process for online packaging updates.
- Collaborating closely with external agencies regarding pack designs amends. Management of external agencies to deliver projects. Design and comms agencies specifically.
- Internal PR: ensure that internal PR activity raises the profile of various marketing events relating to your area of responsibility within pladis (e.g. Launch of new advertising, brand launches etc)
- Act as brand and consumer champion both internally within pladis UK and externally with field sales team.
- Assist the Brand Manager on key projects, with the potential to work with external agencies on projects that may include social, advertising, PR, and in-store
- Support implementation of existing Marketing Brand Plans and in the planning process for the coming year
- Assist the Brand Manager in the development and implementation of marketing initiatives across the full mix, including OOH, digital, social media, in-store as appropriate. Knowledge of standard processes and recent trends.
- Support the Brand Manager in the identification of consumer insights and competitor analysis to unlock growth opportunities for the job holder’s respective brand. Develop new brand renovation concepts, and implement through the development of a sound commercial project P&L.
- Work effectively within cross functional teams to deliver ongoing brand building and sales driving programmes, including in-store activation and new product launches.
- Engage and persuade others to gain commitment to key initiatives without reliance on formal authority.
- Inspire our commercial teams to deliver for the job holder’s respective brand.
- Form strong working relationships with technical development and supply chain on the development of brand renovation projects.
- Minimum of 6 months - 1 year’ experience gained in a marketing team.
- Able to demonstrate some project management skills (Great organisation and collaboration skills).
