Job description
Night shift : Picking fruit and vegetables for orders to be delivered to the catering trade
The work will entail will be picking and packing fresh produce such as fruit and vegetables, working from an order sheet ensuring correct stock is picked and dispatched to customers. Will be required to use answer machine (training will be provided) to list orders.
Would also need to learn a delivery route to fill in for drivers holidays this would be 45 hours per week (12 weeks per year) this will entail loading van and delivering goods to customers (Heavy lifting involved ) 5am to 1pm when driving
picker packer hours would be 12 to 16 per week 12am to 4am three days per week
Candidate requirements
. Have a keen eye for quality control
. General warehouse duties
. To be able to use weighing scales
. Able to rotate stock
. FLT licence would be desirable although not essential
. Driver licence essential (25 and over)
. Able to lift heavy items and work at a fast pace
. Team player as you will be working in a small team so clear communication is essential
. basic IT skills and clear and writing
