Job Summary
The Digital Operations Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end implementation and ongoing maintenance of all digital solutions. While the Digital Operations Manager is a home-based position, significant travel to clients locations to install, train, support, maintain and troubleshoot point-of-sale (POS), customer facing kiosks, mobile and kitchen display systems, PC/Server equipment, network hardware, and other front of house technology solutions is a significant aspect of this position.
- Remote Work Location - must live in the U.S. near a Major Airport
- The position may require up to 75% travel to operating sites
- Work with Compass Digital (CD) TDMs on POS, kiosk, kitchen/customer displays, and technology installation on location for all CD-supported technology
- Provide go-live support and remain on-location post-installation, as needed, for further manager support and training
- Be an active resource on non-CD-supported technologies and equipment such as Nutrislice, Odin, Horizon, Silverware, MVIX, Zebra and other printers, etc., including implementation, go-live support and trouble-shooting support, field training, etc.
- Travel to existing accounts to support, train and work with managers on technology needs
- Identify areas of concern for manager-training
- Audit existing account technology solutions
- Gather site requirements pertaining to installation preparedness
- Deliver regular status updates to project stakeholders
- Inventory, assemble, place, and connect system hardware; load applications and perform testing to verify functionality; troubleshoot and remedy any issues
- Work with Compass Digital or 3rd party vendors and other team members to ensure any interfaces are functioning properly
- Conduct front-of-house training sessions for operations staff, including cashiers and managers
- Provide go-live support and obtain final sign-off from the onsite team
- Provide systems support to operations teams, as needed
- Support other team members’ projects as needed to achieve team success
- Deliver superior, courteous, professional service at all times
