POSITION SUMMARY:
You will work as an integral part of the Business Solutions team to author and edit content, adhering to ADP's authoring standards while also being an advocate for the associate experience. In this role, you will meet the information needs of our associates by producing & maintaining accurate, concise, and usable content, including business processes, how to articles, troubleshooting guides and overviews. You will utilize authoring tools, a component content management system, and work closely with business partners, knowledge management project teams, training teams, and others to ensure high-quality deliverables.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the implementation content strategy, which would include scoping content work and performing content inventories, content reformatting and development, and migration of content.
- Review Translated documents & provide feedback on changes needed.
- Support end users in understanding minimalistic authoring techniques.
- Conduct detailed analysis of user content needs, develop requirements, and estimates for deliverables, partnering with internal teams and other stakeholders in the process.
- Apply enterprise content strategy and principles to develop concise, consistent, and high value content deliverables.
- Ability to translate technical information into documents for nontechnical and technical users.
- Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to obtain information and content validation.
- Demonstrate authoring expertise and provide informal mentoring to colleagues, when need arises.
- Collaborate with content owners to ensure accuracy and foster reuse in an effort to drive efficiencies across the business.
- Report progress of content deliverables to stakeholders and adhere to timelines.
- Act as an expert regarding authoring technology and content development.
- Able to support multiple projects while working on deliverables.
- Prepare documentation on processes and procedures. Roll out in collaboration with Business Solution team to train nationally while ensuring consistent best practices. Explore opportunities for streamlining & automating business processes. Maintain a library of Best Practices and Implementation documentation.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of ADP product capabilities and processing workflows.
- Participate in focus groups, product committees and business conferences as applicable. Provide timely and concise project status updates.
- Provide technical writing leadership within the Business Solutions Team.
- Operate effectively within ADP and Client security and privacy guidelines.
- Provide updates to the Implementation associates via Implementation Tech Talk Sessions and/or documentation.
COMPETENCIES
Education:
- College or university degree or equivalent work experience.
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:
Required :
- Fully Bilingual in French & English (written & verbal requirement) is mandatory
- Proven ability to effectively communicate with internal clients & relate to all levels of the organization through all available mediums (verbal, listening, writing, presenting).
- Ability to establish and maintain effective & constructive relationships with internal/external clients, vendors, and associates, earning trust & respect through demonstrating a consistent commitment to exceed expectations.
- Ability to assess topics and scenarios and determine the best mechanism for communication.
- Proficiency with content management systems a must.
- Understanding of knowledge/content management best practices and content life cycle.
- Maintain library of Implementation documentation
- ADP product knowledge
- Superior organizational and time management skills. Project Experience including preparing schedules, tracking deliverables and reporting status.
- Ability to negotiate, mediate and facilitate.
- 2+ years' experience in a content development and/or writing documentation or training materials, such as guides, tutorials, or white papers.
- Strong multi-team player with outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical, and time management skills like the ability to multi-task, set priorities, and follow-up in a timely manner.
- Ability to learn new technologies/domains quickly.
- Ability to follow and evangelize cross-team processes.
