Job Title: Solutions Architect Salary: £66,861 -£74,290 Location: Chester Hours: (Full time / Part Time) Working Pattern: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in office. About the role Consumer Finance will give you the opportunity to work in a fun dynamic team who are at the forefront of leading the way for customers & colleagues in transforming & digitising the Lloyds Banking Group Retail Bank across mobile, branch, telephony and internet banking. An exciting opportunity has arisen as a Solution Architect for the Loans Lab. Working in a strong collaborative way to drive efforts to create, build, support and improve our end to end architecture across our channel development portfolio, also working closely with the product and engineering teams with lots of exciting new challenges. You'll do Identify general improvements and implement engineering best practices. Collaborate with the product/ design team to iterate the design function and implement the products. Collaborate with Front End, Data and DevOps Engineers to build features and experiments Providing technical leadership within Feature teams Build efficient and reusable back-end systems and abstractions Find and address performance issues Participate in design and code reviews Take ownership of specific problems and deliver customer focused outcomes What you'll need Experience in Spring, Spring IOC/ DI Experience of building Microservices Experience in Big Data and Hadoop ecosystem Strong experience of Rest Services and Core java Strong understanding of Web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JQuery, JSON, XML Exposure to at least one of Liberty, Tomcat or Jetty Containers Exposure to open source technologies and frameworks Basic SQL and Database knowledge Desirable skills Preferable experience with Python and ML technologies Preferable experience with public cloud infrastructure About working for us Our focus is to ensure we're inclusive every day, building an organisation that reflects modern society and celebrates diversity in all its forms.
