We design and build large-scale, bespoke, business-critical systems for some of the world’s most high-profile organisations, from capital markets and commodities to complex public services.
We are looking for an experienced Book Keeper who is friendly and forward thinking with a “can do” attitude. As first point of contact and the “go to” person, you will play an integral part within the Finance Team.
What will I be doing?
You will be part of a tight-knit finance team who are based in Newcastle You will be able to multi-task and work accurately at a fast pace, taking great pride in your work and your office.
The bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for our company. This includes recording financial transactions, reconciling bank and credit card statements, generating financial reports, and managing accounts payable and receivable.

- Dealing with a variety of queries and requests by email, telephone and face to face
- Accurately updating and maintaining various electronic internal systems and records
- Daily Bank Processing & Reconciliation
- Finance Inbox
- Process Invoices
- PO (JIRA) management
- Expense (Kimble) Approvals
- Credit Card Transaction Review
- Adhoc business requirements

- Experience with assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
- Knowledge of compliance with accounting standards and procedures
- Planning, time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to work to deadlines with a disciplined eye for detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft packages and collaboration tools
