About the role
As a Software Tester, you will be a vital component of our product development process. You will collaborate closely with the Engineering and Customer Success teams to ensure the highest quality of our product. We will provide you with the necessary guidance and resources to help you succeed in this role, while also allowing you to add your own unique touch to the QA position.
You will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, testing product features before they are released, and ensuring that our product remains of the highest quality. This position is ideal for someone who is inquisitive, analytical, and eager to work in the tech industry.
Your mission
- Work closely with the Product, Engineering and Customer Success teams to continuously improve the quality of our product
- Plan, write and execute manual test cases using Google Sheets to ensure the quality of new product features and integrations
- Analyse and investigate product complaints or issues raised by the Customer Success team
- Report bugs to the engineering team using JIRA and monitor through to resolution to ensure customer satisfaction
- Ensure the accuracy of data stored and displayed in our product by analysing the data using Google Sheets
- Attend and participate in our daily stand-up meetings and product meetings
- Continuously look for ways to optimize our process for testing and provide suggestions to the wider team to prevent bugs from occurring in the first place
About you
- You possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and are able to interact with a wide range of stakeholders
- You are a detail-oriented individual with an inquisitive mindset and a knack for problem-solving
- You are proficient in working with large data sets in Microsoft Excel (or Google Sheets) and have a strong analytical mindset
- You are comfortable working both autonomously and collaboratively
- You possess a creative and proactive attitude, and you are eager to learn - no previous QA experience is required
