GTMaritime is a rapidly growing SaaS business supplying data focussed software solutions to 13,500 commercial shipping vessels across the globe. GTMaritime are now looking to expand our QA team to strengthen our software development processes and deliver quality products efficiently.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about technical quality and is happy to voice their ideas and be creative to continuously improve our product delivery processes.

To provide exceptional support to the software development team, the successful candidate must be naturally analytical, have excellent attention to detail and work closely with relevant departments to deliver quality products on time.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately recording the output of testing in Jira or equivalent, logging bugs/defects with sufficient clarity and managing them throughout the defect lifecycle.
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.
• Recommend improvements to processes and procedures to improve quality and efficiency.
• To write and implement test plans.
• To write and review test scripts.

Essential Skills / Experience / Competencies:

• Minimum 2 years of software testing experience ideally with a formal ISTQB accreditation (foundation or higher) or relative industry experience
• Experience in:

regression testing
usability testing
stress testing
acceptance testing
exploratory testing
BDD

• Experience in manual testing for APIs, web and windows desktop applications.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
• Experience creating Virtual Machines to support test scenarios.
• Excellent knowledge of best practice testing techniques.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Extremely motivated.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
