Leonardo offers a range of Apprenticeships from 2-4yrs. across a variety of STEM and business routes, offering paid training, coupled with on the job learning that enables you to gain practical skills, experience and knowledge that sets up the best start to your career.
Whether leaving School or College with GCSEs/Standards, A ‘Levels/Highers (or equivalent) or in work and looking for a new career path, you are fully supported as you rotate within the business working on real-time projects alongside highly skilled professionals who are passionate about their work.
As you would expect from a globally renowned Company, we offer competitive entry salaries from £14,000 to £20,500pa and fully support your academic learning through to qualifications, so there is no need to get into debt. What you will do

Note: This Apprenticeship assumes the candidate has little professional engineering experience and is NOT suitable for candidates who already have an engineering, software or computing degree.
During your employment, you will be required to share your time between the workplace and university. You will:
Grow your knowledge of software engineering as part of an Integrated Project Team.- Develop practical skills in engineering design and development for complex systems, understanding key processes and technologies.
- Support early careers activities - our apprentices and graduates have the opportunity to work as STEM ambassadors in schools, colleges and universities
- Commit to the successful completion of all your academic modules and assignments in support of a recognised Apprenticeship standard (Ref:ST0119).

What we are looking for
Qualifications
You must have as a minimum:
96 UCAS Points to include at least 2 STEM subjects (3 C's at A' Level or T Level core pass C or equivalent qualification)
Plus 5 GCSE grades 9-4 / A* - C or equivalent, must include Maths. English and a Science
Mandatory
Please note that in order to apply for this opportunity you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance. Normally this is to the level of Security Check (typically known as “SC”) for our business which includes having a minimum of 5 years permanent residency in the UK.
