What you will do

We view commitment to the programme and learning objectives very highly. During your employment, you will be required to share your time between the workplace and university.
You will:

  • Grow your knowledge of software engineering as part of an Integrated Project Team.
  • Develop practical skills in engineering design and development for complex systems, understanding key processes and technologies.
  • Support early careers activities - our apprentices and graduates can work as STEM ambassadors in schools, colleges, and universities
  • Commit to the successful completion of all your academic modules and assignments in support of a recognised Apprenticeship standard (Ref:ST0119).

What we are looking for

Mandatory

Security clearance

Please note that to apply for this opportunity you must be eligible for UK Security Clearance. Normally this is to the level of Security Check (typically known as “SC”) for our business which includes having a minimum of 5 years permanent residency in the UK.

Qualifications

You must have as a minimum the following qualifications:

96 UCAS Points to include at least 2 STEM subjects (3 C's at A' Level or T Level core pass C or equivalent qualification)

Plus 5 GCSE grades 9-4 / A* - C or equivalent, must include Maths. English and a Science

Note: This Apprenticeship assumes the candidate has little professional engineering experience and is NOT suitable for candidates who already have an engineering, software or computing degree.
