THE JOB

In the role of Software Engineer II, you will work for the TM1 Engagement team on delivering world-class marketing functions to all of Ticketmaster clients. Your focus will enable maximising revenue for both Ticketmaster and its clients. You will be expected to improve the Engagement application and leverage the fans and transactions data in new ways.

Under the TM1 Engagement Team, you will design and develop software code. You will actively participate in the overall solution and frequently identify enhancements. You will use your skills and experience to take initiatives, solve problems, resolve roadblocks.

You will work with a large variety of technologies and will be part of an DevOps & Agile team, responsible for the full end to end delivery of new functionalities, including testing and production support.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Design and develop a data-driven UI application
  • Architecture a simple, maintainable, ticketing-system agnostic, reliable and reusable data ingestion pipeline allowing clients and integrations to leverage fans and transactions data
  • Develop on a Java/React stack.
  • Develop on AWS and Kubernetes
  • Ensure high quality through automated tests.

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

  • Proven years of development experience
  • Experience w/ Agile methodologies
  • Experience of working full stack
  • Experience in DevOps
  • Working knowledge of one or more database products (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, Snowflake)
  • Experience on Big Data projects and messaging systems such as Apache Kafka
  • Experience with production support
  • Experience on marketing product is an asset
