We’re creating exciting opportunities in Data and Machine Learning to modernise our data platforms and tooling using data to deliver against our purpose in an ethical way. You’ll be joining as a Data Engineer, right at the beginning of our journey to modernise and transform our data management capability working alongside a multi-functional team, collaborating closely with the business, product owners and other engineering teams.
We need our engineers to be adaptable with a specific focus on Data Management. The next phase of our transformation is moving more into streaming of data and cloud technologies underpinned through Data Management tools and techniques to meet data needs and our team will be right at the heart of that transformation.
With your technical experience you’ll contribute to shaping our data management architecture, integrate code with other applications and work with the team to ensure that what you build is sustainable and easily supported.
We’re looking for engineers who bring fresh ideas, so we’d be looking for you to have 3-5 years relevant working experience in some of the following areas:
- Experience working with data management or data governance and tools like: Collibra, Ataccama, Manta.
- Experience in design, develop, test and implementation of data management solutions and applications and integration of these with other datastores using connectors of APIs
- Programming skills: SQL and Java or Python
- Working knowledge of data processing, data wrangling, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience of using modern software development toolsets including DevOps, Continuous Integration and Deliver.
Location: Bristol or London

Competitive salary, the base salary banding for this role is £46,350- £54,070 depending on location and experience - plus benefits outlined below.
