We are seeking curious and motivated individuals to join our team as Junior Research Computing Engineers. As a member of our team, you will experience a wide range of technologies and tasks and will work alongside experienced colleagues while developing your skills and knowledge.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you will support the robust operation of all systems and services within our Advanced Computing Research Centre (ACRC) portfolio. You will be responsible for providing technical support to our users, diagnosing and resolving issues, installing scientific and research software, and maintaining our core infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and data centres. You will also be involved with our key projects, such as building innovative digital laboratories and setup up GW4’s new national HPC service-Isambard 3-and exploring emerging technologies.

The team have a regular working day onsite in Bristol to assist in creating a cohesive team environment and doing those tasks that can only be done in person.
