  • Leading the development of complex, cross-functional applications.

  • Transcribing complex technical requirements to the programming languages and parameters required to generate the software solution designed.

  • Helping others solving complex technical problems and coaches others on best practices in software engineering.

  • Controlling the designs, codes and implements software and systems using modern patterns of software development for functionality and scalability within their functional team or limited functional/business area.

  • Designing and implements performant software using documented algorithms and methods of software optimisation within a limited set of functional/business areas

  • Implementing quality software applications of medium-high complexity within a limited set of functional/business areas, without clear requirements.

What you’ll bring.

  • Considerable experience of Full Stack Development in IT

  • Expertise in developing microservices and ReST API’s using (Spring-Boot) Java and (Nodejs) Javascript / Typescript programming languages.

  • Designed, developed, and deployed dynamically scalable, fault-tolerant applications in AWS, GCP and OpenShift PaaS from High Level Business requirements.

  • Developing non-blocking, concurrent reactive application using Spring Reactor and RxJs Framework.

  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines using DevOps tools such as Docker, Gradle, Maven, Git, Jenkins, GilabCI, Ansible, Rundeck

  • Practise TDD/BDD using tools and framework such as Cucumber & Postman

It would also be nice for you to have.

  • AWS certification

  • Experience in working with Agile methodologies, Scrum and Kanban leveraging JIRA and Confluence tools

  • Solution architecture capabilities

What else you need to know.

We will be conducting all interviews via telephone or video-conference where possible.

This role offers hybrid working with an expectation to travel to the Milton Keynes office as and when required (2-3 days per week)

This is a permanent position.
