As a Senior Software Engineer you will be an integral part of a dynamic engineering team, contributing to the development of flagship products and shaping their architecture. You will have the opportunity to work on both frontend and backend applications using modern cloud-based technologies, primarily in Amazon Web Services. We welcome your existing expertise in this area or provide support for expanding your knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and develop our next generation of products.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of new and existing software.
• Participate in code assignments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality code.
• Mentor and support junior engineers as needed.
• Identify innovative ways to enhance working processes and technologies to improve efficiency.

Preferred Technologies:

• PHP with Laravel (our language and framework of choice)
• MySQL databases (large-scale and globally distributed)
• Amazon Web Services (RDS to Lambda)
• Vue.js and similar JavaScript frameworks
• Redis

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficiency in PHP and Laravel (4+ years)
• Experience with cloud hosting providers, especially AWS
• Aptitude for coaching and mentoring junior developers
• Ability to thrive in a start-up environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative mindset
• Proactive and self-driven, taking ownership of projects from inception to delivery
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills
