Software Engineer - Product Generalist Responsibilities:

• Full stack web application development with a variety of coding languages
• Create business customer facing products and features using internal programming language Hack
• Implement web interfaces using XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Work closely with our PM and design teams to define feature specifications and build products leveraging frameworks such as React
• Work closely with operations and infrastructure to build and scale back-end services
• Build report interfaces and data feeds
• Successfully complete medium to large features independently without guidance, with sustained self-driven productivity
• Proactively identify and drive changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area and/or systems

Minimum Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of frameworks such as React
• Relevant experience of building large-scale applications or similar experience
• Proficiency in PHP/Hack and JavaScript/XHTML/CSS (or comparable languages)
• Experience identifying, designing and completing medium to large features end to end, independently or as part of larger project
• Track record of successfully building full-stack features within existing large codebases
• Track record of independently collaborating on projects with other engineers and XFN partners
• Proven experience to translate insights into business recommendations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experienced in identity, login stack and Integrity ( bonus points if this is Meta Stack)
• B.S. or M.S. Computer Science or related field
• Industry experience in the enterprise or B2B space
• Experience completing projects of medium scope
