Your Role
At our core our tech stack is Vue.Js front end, .NET backend, and MS SQL Server. In addition there is plenty of exposure to cloud services across Azure and opportunity to get stuck in with architecture, best practice, DevOps processes.
You'll be an engineer pushing best practice engineering processes and approaches, and driving the capabilities of the platform, ensuring continuous product improvement.
Someone with a polyglot mentality to software development would be highly appreciated as some of our existing products are running across PHP / AngularJS / MariaDB. Our plan is to re-write these over time into Vue.JS / .NET / MS SQL Server.
We serve clients across several geographic locations in Europe, America, UAE, and Australia so our platforms will need to be globally distributed, and scalable.
We would love to meet someone who can
- Understands aspects of software engineering, including design, implementation, quality assurance and maintenance.
- Can build, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software.
- Work closely with stakeholders to analyze user requirements
- Support our industry partners on developing strategic tech initiatives
- Interpret business problems to propose and implement engineering solutions
Your Background
- Must be a self-starter that can work under limited direction.
- Agile experience, preferably in a Kanban environment
- Strong communication skills
- 2+ years’ experience in Software Engineering
Tech Desirables
- Javascript / HTML / CSS – Preferable experience of Vue, React, or Angular.
- MS SQL Server / T-SQL
- Microsoft .NET C#
- Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines (GitHub actions)
- Docker
- Understanding of Design Patterns, OOP, SOLID, and Clean Code
- Automated testing framework(s)
