Who Are We?
We are a small team of talented professionals who are passionate about creating high-impact solutions for our customers in the health research and higher education sectors. We contribute to projects that make a real difference which is why we love what we do. Our customers include the Medical Schools Council, the Nuclear AMRC, the Sheffield Clinical Trials Research Unit, and several NHS trusts and universities.
The Role
We are looking for a diligent and hardworking engineer who can positively contribute to our team. You will either have used some of the tools we prefer, like Ruby on Rails, RSpec and React, or be eager to learn.
In this role you will receive advice from our senior and lead engineers alongside tailored shadowing and pairing opportunities to support your career progression. You will also have access to books and online training platforms such as LinkedIn Learning and Pluralsight, with a training budget of £1,500 per annum to attend courses, events and conferences.
Skills and Experience
- You have experience in full stack web development, including strong coding and testing skills.
- You understand the common security threats affecting web applications and are familiar with approaches for mitigating them.
- You thoughtfully solve problems using a suitable blend of attention to detail, creativity, and pragmatism.
- You are a considerate communicator who actively listens and values clarity when working with colleagues and customers.
- You are a lifelong learner who enjoys sharing your knowledge with others.
