Introduction
Do you want to work for an industry leading prime supplier to the Defence industry?
Our client is looking for a Software Engineer to work in a TickITplus certified environment. You will work across the entire Software Development Lifecycle, engineering and delivering cutting edge solutions to customers and clients, as well as provide technical leadership and use your experience to solve complex problems.
The ideal candidate will have experience of web or application development in C#, .Net, HTML, CSS, OR JavaScript along with the ability to lead the design and architecture of solutions.
This is a remote contract with occasional travel to Hampshire or Bedfordshire (likely once every two weeks).
Key responsibilities
- Work across the full Software Development Lifecycle
- Develop web applications using React, Angular, Vue etc.
- Engineer and deliver cutting edge solutions to customers and clients
- Act as a technical lead and provide technical expertise to solve difficult challenges
- Lead the design and creation of solutions
- Document agreed solutions according to project standards
- Support the deployment of solutions, including preparation and delivery of analysis, demonstrations, workshops, training, and documentation.
Skills & experience
- Experience of web or application development in C#, .Net, HTML, CSS, OR JavaScript
- Database development
- Development of web applications with React, Angular, OR Vue
- Designing, implementing, OR using Rest APIs
- Experience leading the design and architecture of solutions
