Our team:
The StoreFront Services team develops the Citrix StoreFront products both in the Azure cloud (Workspace) and on-premises (StoreFront) which act as sole access layer for our Desktop-as-a-Service solutions. Based in Cambridge UK, our systems pull data from several components to provide information consumed by clients for mobile, desktop and the web. While maintaining a focus on scalability, reliability and security, we also work on new features and transformation projects across the full technology stack. What we are looking for:
You’re an enthusiastic university graduate with passion for technology, with a positive, proactive attitude. You have a desire to learn and develop, in addition to strong written & verbal communication skills. You have a good understanding of the software development lifecycle process, computer science fundamentals, operating systems, computer networking, and are knowledgeable in or have used one or more programming languages (e.g. golang, Python, C#, Java). The language we use is .NET C#.

The role:
As a Graduate Software Engineer in the StoreFront teams, you will be part of designing and implementing high quality and performant services while also helping with technical discussions, collaborating with other staff, principal engineers, architects and product managers to help deliver world-class software solutions to our customers.
Responsibilities:
Help designing and implementing highly performant and scalable backend services.
Able to learn fast, be inquisitive and work within an agile environment.
Influence and collaborate with internal teams to ensure the end to end delivery of solutions.
Help drive world-class software solutions for our customers.
Participate and learn in technical forums and contribute to cultural and technical enhancements
Engage in on-call escalations when required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (to be completed by July 2023) from an accredited university
Understanding the concepts of the software development lifecycle processes
Understanding the principles and basis of operating systems and computer networking
Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals e.g. algorithms, data structures
Some experience in one or more programming languages such as golang, C#, Java, Python
Experience with one or more scripting languages e.g. JavaScript, PowerShell
