World-Class Tech Organisation are looking for a Lead Software Developer with strong commercial experience using the Microsoft Tech stack. Lead a team of skilled Developers, using modern technologies and getting involved with genuinely interesting projects.

They're a globally known technology company that have been operating successfully for over 30 years now and are truly considered as market leaders within their field. Their Tech HQ is based out of Glasgow and will continually be led from there - they create enterprise level software solutions with an impressive list of modern technologies and practices.

You will lead a team of 5 developers which will focus on projects which control & shape their internal products that can last anywhere from 6 months to a year (sometimes even longer!). The team will stay with each project from planning, designing, development to deployment to ensure it success. There is already a busy pipeline of greenfield projects that you will be heavily involved in.

You will also be responsible for managing the performance and professional development of your team members, providing coaching and guidance to help them achieve their full potential. You will work closely with other stakeholders in the business, such as Product Manager's, Business Analyst's, and Product Owners, to ensure that software development projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

You should ideally have commercial experience with the following;

  • .NET Stack (C#, MVC and .NET Core).
  • Databases; SQL & Entity Framework
  • Azure
  • Technical Leadership Experience

Experience with the following would be highly advantageous;

  • JavaScript
  • Azure DevOps & DevOps tools.
  • Microservices
  • Working on large scale enterprise level software solutions

This role provides a great platform to help improve your skill set, as the company place real emphasis on career and personal development - the team regularly attend training (including Microsoft Training so gaining Certifications are the norm here).

The company are based in central Glasgow and do follow a hybrid working model, where you'd be expected onsite about twice a week - however there is some flex on this. In return the organisation is offering a salary of £50k to £65k, on top of a very appealing list of benefits (up to 20% Bonus, up to 9% Pension, Good Holidays, flexible working hours and many more).

If you've got all or most of the required skills and are up for a new challenge; do get in touch. You can apply online and/or give Max at Cathcart Technology a call.
