Software Engineer
Bristol/Hybrid (Expected to come to office 1/2 days a fortnight)
£50,000 -£65,000 DOE + BONUS +Progression Opportunities+ Benefits Package.

Software Developer sought within a globally recognised Engineering services provider who are market leading within their industry. They are a brand associated with quality and offer a varied role within a great team environment.
The role of the Software Developer position will be suited to someone who has experience in the production of FDS, PLC, HMI or SCADA software in a project lead role. You will be supporting the company’s project team in exciting installations around the country. Experience of electrical engineering and holding a 17th or 18th Edition wiring Regulations would be highly advantageous.
The core role of the software developer will be to develop new FDS, HMI, SCADA and PLC reports for new and exciting projects. You will play a key role in providing technical input on contractual software requirements of client projects.

The Role:
*Design and develop new FDS, PLC, HMI and SCADA reports for new projects
*Provide technical input and support
*Prepare test requirements for specific software applications

The Person:
*Knowledge of or experience using FDS, PLC, HMI and SCADA
*IT / Electrical qualifications or equivalent will be highly advantageous
*Ideally have 18th Edition wiring Regulations City & Guilds 2382 and Inspection and testing City & Guilds 2392
* Excellent verbal and written communication with outstanding interpersonal skills
