Job Overview
Responsibilities:
- Learn about architectures and hardware designs while they are in development
- Implement fast, accurate models in C++11/14/17 and write unit tests
- Apply your creativity to improve the code
- Improve Arm's designs with your feedback
- Participate in an Agile team
- Benefit from powerful workstations, proven DevOps support and access to local- and cloud-compute resources
Required skills and experience:
- A good degree in a computing, mathematical or scientific subject or equivalent experience
- A few years of professional experience writing object-oriented code, including some C++
- An interest in new technologies and computer hardware
- A passion for software
- An affinity for the Arm Core Beliefs
"Nice to have" Skills and Experience:
- Experience with modern C++ (C++11/14/17) or Python
- Knowledge of computer architecture, particularly Arm CPU architectures
- Experience of cross-platform development for Linux and Windows
- Any use of modelling technologies, like SystemC or gem5
