JOB TITLE: Software Development Intern
LOCATION: Edinburgh, UK
ONSITE
PROGRAM TERM: 1st June 2023 to 31st August 2023
THE ROLE:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design, develop and verify new software features
- Review, refactor and improve existing software
- Participate in peer code and design reviews
- Demonstrate and present your work to the team
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Primary:
- Confident in C++ (or equivalent) programming language
- Familiarity of Linux and Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Tcl or Python
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Secondary:
- Interest in Hardware Design tools and methodologies
- Knowledge of Verilog and/or VHDL languages
- Exposure to FPGA or ACAP architectures and flows
- Bachelors or Masters undergraduate (year 3+) in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or comparable degree
