software development engineer in test Remote

SR2
Full Time Remote 55000 - 50000 GBP ANNUAL Today
Job description

I’m recruiting for an automation software test engineer/ QA with experience of automation with Selenium (ideally c#) to join a really exciting company who develop software for pharmaceutical companies doing clinical trials. Their products help to manage and analyze the results and improve the time to market. It’s a booming sector and with a team of approximately 50 and a tech team of around 20 they are planning to double the size of their tech team over the next year. This position offers the flexibility of working remotely, as the company follows a remote-first approach. However, applicants must be based in the UK. The company organises four company catchups annually, covering all associated travel and accommodation expenses.

They work in an agile scrum environment and have a QA Test team of 5 which is growing. They are now looking for an automation tester to work alongside their existing automation qa, and together build out their automation frameworks (all built with selenium and C#) and improve automation coverage across their products as well as peer reviewing each other’s work. You’ll also get involved in helping mentor some of the manual testers as they start to upskill in automation.

Their ideal person will have solid automation experience of building out frameworks with Selenium and ideally C# although they would consider other lanaguages and happy working in a role that will predominantly focus on automation. Any industry knowledge of clinical trials would be useful but is not essential as all training will be provided.

It’s an exciting time to be joining a company who operate in a really interesting field. They heavily invest in their staff, providing training budgets and annual pay increases that align with inflation, even before accounting for skill-based raises. Salary is anywhere up to £55,000 dependent on experience. They offer 27 days holiday plus bank holidays on top and extra days thrown in here and there just because they like to reward their staff, plus a whole range of new benefits that they are bringing in next month.
