About the role and our team

Join our supportive Progress Zone Team as an Education Support Assistant at St Ninian’s High School!

The Progress Zone is an inclusive, fluid, learning support system providing positive support for pupils, and is part of their general educational provision. At any one time up to a quarter of the school population will be supported in some way by the Progress Zone.

Your day to day duties will include:

  • Supporting pupils to understand instructions
  • Promoting inclusion and acceptance
  • Attending to pupils personal needs including social, health, physical and hygiene
  • Helping pupils use basic ICT as directed in the classroom
  • Encouraging pupils to interact with others and engage in activities led by the Teacher

The education of all pupils is a whole school priority and responsibility, and you’ll enable pupils to access the support they require according to their individual needs.
