Position Summary
This is a key role within a dedicated specialised team, developing and implementing new engineering toolsets and lean improvements across multiple sites contributing to one of the largest Dynamics-365 rollouts globally.
The Opportunity
Reporting to the Team Lead, in this role you will be part of a Software development team, liaising with sales, operations, engineering and multiple Rotork sites and ISV’s across the globe.
In this role you will be testing developed solutions and systems to business requirements and user stories to ensure quality and solution fit for business needs. You will be testing a mixture of Microsoft toolsets, bespoke software and other software packages to give pass/fail results and raising bugs to pass back to development teams. Working with software developers, systemisation engineers and the business, you will be developing test plans to ensure a concise, repeatable and robust test process. You could be feeding guidance and experience into the wider testing strategy where appropriate.
This role would suit a process driven person who can work in a challenging, fast-paced environment delivering end-to-end solutions.
Experience Requirements
- Understanding of the software development cycle is essential
- Previous in performing test scripts and raising bugs
- Ability to build strong relationships, experience working with end users and internal stakeholders
- Experience in manufacturing systems and Engineering product setup within those systems is preferable
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or other Microsoft technologies such as Azure DevOps and SharePoint would be advantageous
