Lakarya is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join our team to support an essential modernization program for one of our client. As a member of our Agile development team, you will support several complex and high-volume customer systems. The ideal candidate would have experience supporting End to End Agile Lifecycle Management.

Functional Responsibilities:

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Support microservice application development scrum teams with code deployments leveraging Kubernetes Application containerization and orchestration solution
• Create automation scripts that integrates Gitlab pipeline tool with supporting DevSecOps tools such as automated testing and security scanning tools as part of the AppDev lifecycle
• Monitor non-production environment and troubleshoot issues that arise

Required Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Systems, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
• 2+ years of software development experience
• 2+ years of DevSecOps and CI/CD experience
• 2+ years developing software products in Cloud environments
• Direct GitLab and Sonatype experience with specific concentration on scanning and pipeline creation.
• U.S. Citizen with existing or the ability to pass a Public Trust background investigation.

Desired Skills/Experience/Certifications:

• Certifications in the following areas: Agile: PMI-ACP, CSM, CSPO, SAFe, etc.; ITIL; DevSecOps and Cloud Native architecture.
• Expertise in DevSecOps automation, and CI/CD, Lean, and Agile Scrum/Kanban development techniques, best practices and tools
• Experience with End-to-end Agile Lifecycle Management, Test, Build, Deployment, Security and Application Monitoring CI/CD pipeline automation solutions (i.e., Jira, GitLab, Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Sonatype Nexus, New Relic, AppDynamics etc.)
• Cloud-native application architecture and design experience including containerized microservice, service mesh, API, and event-driven architectures
• Experience with Application containerization and orchestration solutions (i.e., Kubernetes)
• Experience with cloud-native software architecture frameworks - including Open-Source and Commercial distributions (OCI-compliant containerized microservices, REST API, Kubernetes deployment and orchestration) and Cloud-based services (AWS Lambda, EKS, Azure DevOps, AKS)
• Experience developing and scaling engineering solutions for both structured and unstructured data

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $30.02 - $55.00 per hour
