Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Design and develop new applications
- Identify and implement CI/CD methodology and philosophies for existing and new applications and services
- Expand the team’s knowledge base on automation
- Bachelor Degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of development experience in Java or similar language
- 2+ years of experience automating Cloud-based applications and services
- Experience with Multi-cloud solutions - Azure, Google, Amazon
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery
- Experience with one or more of the following: AWS Cloud Formation, TerraForm, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef and Puppet
Preferred Qualifications
- 4+ years experience in Java
- 2+ years of experience developing infrastructure as code
- Experience working on agile teams to deliver software iteratively
- Experience with Atlassian tools like Confluence and JIRA
- Experience with designing and architecting applications
- Experience with Linux, containerization and container orchestration like Kubernetes
- Experience with logging, metrics and monitoring tools like DataDog and Splunk
- Experience with the fuel business and transaction processing
