Overview:

To ensure long term growth and to invest in the future we are looking for an Apprentice to join our growing team. This person will sit within a small development team and support them in the development of a brand-new tool, utilising modern cloud infrastructure and pre-built AI Models.

Your Responsibilities: [will include:]

• Ensuring best practice is followed
• Working alongside product stakeholders to gather and prioritise requirements for ongoing application development
• Continue to reduce technical debt
• Ensuring we develop using secure development practices
• Working alongside other team members and providing guidance and assistance, if required

What we are looking for:

Ideal experience, skills and qualities:

• Keen to learn new skills that may not be directly related to your apprenticeship
• As there will be a level of dealing with stakeholders, good communication skills are required
• Experience of working in government or public sector would be desirable, but not essential
• Experience in public cloud technologies would be desirable, but not essential
• Experience of working in an Agile manner
• Have experience in DevOps, Angular/React, Cloud technologies

Entry requirements:

• The learner must have completed a Level 3 Software Development Apprenticeship with QA or have an equivalent qualification with another training provider
• OR an A-level in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) subject and a successful completion of our aptitude test
• OR a BTEC Diploma in IT and a successful completion of our aptitude test
• OR 2 years’ experience in a relevant role and successful completion of our aptitude test

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Salary:

£16,000 - £18,000 per annum.

Working week:

35hrs a week.
