Or Private Sector Technology Division is seeking to recruit an experienced Software Developer with extensive Front End experience in Angular. This role is fulltime and permanent and will be working for one of our local partners in Leeds who, like us, are market leaders in their chosen sector.
The Angular Developer will be self motivated, passionate about technology and the development process, and they will advocate clean code, test automation, process improvement and collaborative working within the business.
You will be based in Bradford, Leeds or the surrounding area (ideal for a short commute) and you will be comfortable working on a full time, salaried basis for the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
· Play a leading role in assessing and estimating new software requirements
· Develop and modify new and existing software applications
· Develop and modify new and existing software applications
· Problem solve and troubleshoot software application issues
· Ensure applications and data are secure
· Review colleague's code
· Produce suitable technical documentation for new and existing applications
· Suggest improvements in order to drive efficiencies and increase productivity
· Ensure successful transition to production
· Ensure suitable unit and integration tests are included in each delivery
· Verify requirements with business stakeholders and users
Core Skills & Areas of Experience
We are seeking someone with a strong Development background with Angular who can plan, produce estimates, run unit testing and acceptance testing processes (automated).
Ideally, you will have a Microsoft tech stack background. You will be able to work under pressure, ensuring that essential deadlines are met by effective planning and the utilisation of various support resources.
You will be comfortable with collaborative code design, referencing common architectural and class design patterns. You will have experience of incremental software delivery in a team setting following Scrum or similar development frameworks.
All candidates must have strong analytical, numeric and written skills
