Hours: Full-Time, Permanent, (37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri - 8.30 am - 4.30 pm)
Location: Flexible
Salary: £40,000 per annum, (depending on experience & qualifications)

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Software Developer C#.
Nova Training is one of the UK’s most popular and experienced training providers operating for over 30 years in Study Programmes and Apprenticeships. Nova now operates its 14-24 provision from 13 locations located across the West Midlands and East of England.
Our programme delivery now includes; 16-18 study programmes, pre-apprenticeships, provision for learners with high needs, apprenticeships and 14-16 alternative provision.
Rated as Good by Ofsted in all areas of provision for offering a variety of education options to young people.
As a C# Software Developer at Nova Training, you will be working on our web-based compliance and learning solutions across our organisation. You should have a skill set that includes .NET, .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC, SQL. You will also need to have a keen eye for detail with outstanding problem-solving skills.The role will involve improving and building upon our bespoke software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- To maintain, update, test and develop new and existing solutions and features.
- Ensure our current solutions run smoothly and effectively by ensuring systems remain up to date.
- Deliver user requested functions and features ensuring tasks are prioritised, recorded and progress
- communicated.
- Maintain high quality code that meets current industry standards.
- Provide technical expertise when consulting on project requests.
- Maintain own personal development with new and emerging technologies and practices.
- Work independently and within a small team on internal scalable web solutions.
Requirements & Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Developer
- Degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
- C# / .Net
- SQL / LINQ
- Microsoft Azure
- Rest API’s
- Code and version control
- HTML/CSS/JS
- You will need to be familiar with deployment automation and build environments.
Full, clean UK Driving License
