Who we are looking for

A Software Development Technical Lead to help to coordinate and drive team efforts to deliver software solutions.

The Core Systems team is vital to the continued success of the business, having responsibility for developing and supporting a growing number of critical systems. You will be working alongside some of the best developers in the industry and will receive exposure to cutting edge technologies, as well as having the opportunity to influence the technical direction of the team.

The day to day work is interesting, challenging and fast paced amidst a hardworking and delivery focused company ethos. We hire people with a broad set of technical skills who are ready to tackle some of technology’s greatest challenges and continue to break new ground in software innovation.

This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.

Preferred skills and experience

Developing low latency, highly available and scalable solutions.
Experience of distributed systems.
Server side developer; Services, Systems, Messaging, Middleware.
Good database application programming.
Creation of concurrent distributed components.
Ability to think in a pressured environment and situations, reacting quickly.
Working on Linux and GNU utilities.
Ability to multi task and manage multiple streams of activity, shifting focus regularly.
Extensive commercial development experience.
High attention to detail.
