Software Developer (Connected Service and Diagnostics)
Based in the Welsh hills, ACTIA has permanent, fulltime vacancy for multiple software engineers to join our small, dynamic, expanding team developing connected diagnostic services for commercial vehicles and other automotive sectors. Reporting to the Diagnostics and Connected Services Business Manager, the main roles for this position include:
- Design and development of vehicle diagnostic applications and associated connected services
- Project planning and status reporting
- Design documentation
- Test and validation activities
What skills are we looking for?
- Project manager, lead engineer, software developer or graduate with a background in computer science
- Degree in software development or similar discipline.
- Programming experience in Microsoft .Net framework and C# or similar
- Experience with server and client-side web application development
- Development and deployment using ASP.NET and Microsoft Azure
- UX development for Windows desktop applications
- Familiar with OOP, UML, Design Patterns, Agile and SOLID principles
