Job Title: Software Developer (Consultancy)
Location: Cardiff (2 days per week in the office)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

As a Software Developer you will be responsible for identifying, developing, testing, and delivering robust and scalable technical solutions for our essential business systems. Additionally, this role is client-facing, where you will directly engage with clients to understand their needs, gather requirements, and provide technical guidance and support. A key aspect of your role will be promoting a strong culture of continuous improvement to increase efficiency, enhance quality, and reduce development cycles. Technical Competencies:
Essential:
C#: You should have a solid understanding of the C# programming language, its features, and best practices.
.NET Core: Experience with .NET Core is essential, as it is the modern, cross-platform development framework for building applications.
.NET Framework: Knowledge of the .NET Framework will be crucial for maintaining and enhancing existing applications.
JavaScript: Proficiency in JavaScript is required for front-end development and interaction with web applications.
MS SQL Server: Strong database skills, particularly with MS SQL Server, will be necessary for data storage and retrieval.
Desirable:
Blazor: Familiarity with Blazor, a web framework for building interactive UIs using C#, will be advantageous.
Docker: Knowledge of Docker will be useful for containerization and deployment purposes.
