Job Title: Soda Works Assistant (Full Time)
Brief Outline:
- As the Soda Works Assistant, you will be working within the business ensuring the Factory Floor is working efficiently and correctly from juicing fruits to packing finished bottles of Fizzy-Pop.
- This is a full-time job required 40 hours with London Living Wage hourly pay.
- Attention to detail and organisation skills are imperative for this role.
- Care & diligence are required as well as a positive can-do attitude that reflects the company’s brand and positioning when dealing with all colleagues.
- We are a fast-paced business so you will be able to adapt to changes quickly.
Main Responsibilities:
- Preparation of fruit including washing, chopping, squishing, collecting the juice, and disposing of the used pulp.
- Preparation of other ingredients including weighing, mixing, cooking, distilling, and filtering.
- Mixing and diluting of drinks to our specification.
- Running of the packaging line including the operation of the line from empty bottle loading to finished product, changing label reels, checking bottles for low fills, over fills, batch coding errors or labelling faults, loading bottles into boxes, and packing and stacking cases of fizzy pop onto pallets.
- Working with the team to maintain the quality control of all products produced while on shift.
- Communicating internally with the Team on the business app “Slack” any work-related updates, reports or other.
- Daily completion of all compliance information needed for our production and packaging runs.
- Adhering to all H&S and SALSA standards to and completing all paperwork associated with this.
- Carrying out our cleaning schedule & cleaning tasks to the standard required including daily clean downs of all used workstations and equipment, daily cleaning checks and weekly deep cleans.
- Ensuring waste is kept to a minimum and regularly removing waste from the working area to maintain our high standards of cleanliness.
- Stock checking of all raw materials.
- Manual handling – we need you to be comfortable with physical work.
