Paralegal - Office of General Counsel

About the team:
Based across Fragomen’s London and Sheffield offices, the EMEA Office of General Counsel is one of the corporate teams supporting the firm’s core business. The team assists with a wide range of transactional, company secretarial and advisory legal work across EMEA, including: tenders; commercial contracts (clients and suppliers); employment; property; professional regulation; compliance; sanctions; and litigation. As part of the team, you will work to set up the new contract management tool which will be used in all Fragomen offices around the world.

Reporting to the EMEA Associate General Counsel based in London, the Paralegal will be responsible for:

- Reading contracts (with Fragomen’s clients / suppliers) and extracting the relevant data and terms and inputting this into a data sheet for upload into our new vendor and contract management software.
- Running reports on previously uploaded contracts to identify contracts containing certain key terms, upcoming expiration dates, etc..
- Responding to requests from Fragomen colleagues for copies of contracts signed by specific entities, including certain key terms, etc..
- Managing your workload and providing accurate information regarding work volumes and likely timescales to completion.
About you:
To be successful in this role you will have an eye for detail together with strong data entry and/or contract review skills, preferably with previous experience using a contract management tool.
Also:
- Ability to read and understand contracts and extract relevant data following a process agreed with the Office of General Counsel.
- Familiarity with common contracting documents and structure.
- Previous experience with a procurement or contract management tool preferred.

Fragomen in Sheffield:
Our Sheffield office is based in the city centre with the added bonus of free on-site parking, as well as several public transport links close by. The office has approximately 350 people working collaboratively and creating a dynamic, positive environment with over 20 different languages being spoken.
