The Community recruiter is pleased to be working with Westcountry Case Management to recruit a Team Leader to join their team. Westcountry Case Management prides itself on supporting people with compassion and kindness. This is an opportunity to join an established, passionate team who are making a difference to people living with complex needs across the Westcountry & Wales.
You will be employed directly by the client; however, Westcountry Case Management oversee all aspects of the clients care package on their behalf.
This role is made up of 8 hours team leading hours, with the remaining hours paid at the team leader rate but in a Support Worker capacity.

Topped up with Support Worker Hours
Based in Frampton Cotterell, Bristol
You will lead a team of support workers in the care of the client who is a 39-year-old fun loving lady who has cerebral palsy. She is dependent on assistance for all transfers and personal care. She communicates independently and successfully via an electronic speech aid. The client lives in her own home and requires care 1-1, 24 hours per day. Support workers assist the client to access community activities and complete therapy programmes under the direction of therapists. The successful candidate will be expected to have excellent communication skills and experience of liaising with family members, professionals and organisations.
What you need
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in care and previous experience in a similar role is essential.
Experience of caring for people with physical or learning disabilities.
Experience of managing others.
Knowledge of organising staff rotas.
A positive interest in active rehabilitation and a desire to enable an individual to reach his/her full potential is essential.
£13.20 per hour weekdays / weekend days
12-hour night shifts paid at 8 hours NLW and 4 hours waking rate.
Hours available
8 hours per week – Team Leader responsibilities plus support worker hours paid at the same rate.
Support worker hours currently available:
Monday 12.45 – 20.15
Wednesday 7.45 – 20.25 plus night
Thursday 12.45 – 20.15
Friday 7.45 – 13.00
Sundays 7.45 – 20.15
