The starting salary for this role is £21,295 per annum for 18 hours per week (pro-rata to full-time salary of £42,591).

Our Spelthorne Locality Team based in Ashford, Middlesex currently have the following part-time Senior Social Worker vacancies:
- 1 x Fixed Term contract/ Secondment opportunity up to 31st March 2024 to cover maternity leave.
- 1 x 12 month Fixed Term contract/ Secondment opportunity.

In your application, we would love to hear about your:
- Professional qualification in Social Work and current registration with Social Work England
- Safeguarding knowledge
- Knowledge and experience of current legislation, including the Care Act and the Mental Capacity Act and its application to practice in a social care setting
- Substantial post qualification professional experience as a Social Worker
- Experience in carrying out safeguarding enquiries, carrying out assessments within the community and working with a diverse group of individuals and partner agencies
- Commitment to your own professional development
- Experience of providing professional supervision would be desirable but not essential
Applicants must hold a valid Driving Licence to drive in the UK and have access to a car.
