Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to work as part of a dynamic team, supporting the development of high quality, integrated cardiovascular care across South London with links into Kent, Surrey, and Sussex.
We are looking for a Project Manager to join the South London Office of Specialised Services (SLOSS) team to lead a portfolio of work with links across the overall programme, that builds, manages and maintains strong and collaborative working relationships with all the key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring patients have equitable, timely and, where appropriate, local access to comprehensive, high quality, clinically sustainable and financially viable cardiac services irrespective of where, when, or how, they access services.
The post holder will work closely with clinical leaders and colleagues across South London, plus programmes and initiatives both at local and London levels.
The post is hosted by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, with accountability to provider organisations, South London integrated care boards (ICBs), and NHS England.
You will need to be able to work across a range of clinical teams and have the experience to navigate multiple organisations. You will work with the existing overarching workstreams of specialised commissioning cardiac interventions, directing and advancing their progress towards high quality healthcare, with targeted improvement of the patient experience, quality and value for money.
The role is suitable for those with excellent project management skills and coming from an operational background wishing to broaden their experience, as well as those coming from a strategic and/or clinical network background. You should have demonstrable experience of delivering clinical pathway redesign, transformational change initiatives and significant influencing and persuasions skills to engage with the wide range of teams and stakeholders for the programmes.
Interviews will be held on Wednesday, 24 May 2023.
