We are looking for a Support Worker to join our team and provide care to our clients in a variety of settings, including care homes, live-in, homecare, hospital, nursing home, residential home, hospice, extra care housing, day centre, retirement village and sheltered housing. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personalised care and support to clients in line with their individual needs and preferences. The Support Worker will also be required to monitor the health and wellbeing of clients and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to people with disabilities and/or mental health issues.
- Assist with personal care needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with service users, families, and other professionals.
- Understand the principles of safeguarding and risk management.
- Understand the principles of person-centred care and support planning.
- Provide practical assistance with daily living tasks such as shopping, cooking, cleaning, and laundry.
- Assist in the development of life skills such as budgeting, communication, and social activities.

Part-time hours: 12-40 per week
Salary: £11.50-£17.00 per hour
